"A LITTLE OUT OF SYNC"

The voices of Misty Morgan and Jack Blanchard are unmistakable. It doesn't matter what song they're singing, or where. You know them instantly. That sound is so uniquely their own. And their latest album,

"A Little Out Of Sync", is no exception. 'Cause, Jack and Misty have done it again!

This is another beautiful example of how well these two work together….Out of sync?? I don't think so. I don't think they have EVER been out of sync…not even a little! Every song on this CD is perfection! They've been around the music scene long enough to know how to produce a record, too, and you can hear that here. A well-produced album is like a well designed house. You can move easily from room to room, or, in this case, from song to song, without feeling lost, or confused. And you won't want to stop this one early. It's like one of those books that grab you on the first page. You can't stop reading, you can't put it down. Well, I couldn't stop LISTENING…I couldn't turn it off. They had me from the first note. I LOVE that! (as most of you well know, by now)

Do you want to know Jack and Misty? Then listen to "Because We Love"…believe me, that song IS Jack and Misty! And what about "Here Today and Gone Tomorrow", another tune that suits them perfectly. There isn't one song on this CD that I could imagine being left out. And there are 19 on this CD! Every one of them flows into the next. There's never a break in the mood, either. No, I'm not saying they all sound alike…quite the opposite. But what they DO do, is to meld together, like they were all written on the same day, the same afternoon, in the same room, with the same cup of coffee on the table. You never feel they've gotten up and changed the page on the calendar. It's like being in the studio with them. Watching their minds at work, and then getting to witness the result, while you are the exclusive audience. You can just picture them leaning their elbows on the table, looking in each other's eyes…writing what their hearts are saying…..Then, suddenly they're putting a lampshade on their head, and laughing like crazy, while they write a tune like…"I'm Washing Harry Down the Sink"….hmmmm…now who do you think Harry was, and why did he get to them so bad that they'd actually send the poor guy out to sea?? We'll probably never know. Their songs seem so personally THEIR songs, that you just know they have a secret story hiding in them somewhere. That's just one more example of what makes this duo so unique

I like this album, and I knew I would. I always look forward to another of Jack and Misty's CD's. They never disappoint. And they've learned so much through the years of their very successful career. Each time one of their projects is released, it's an improvement over the last. And believe me, that ain't easy! Cause how do you improve something that seems alllllmost perfect? How do you 'fix somethin' that ain't broke'?

I guess that's a question only they can answer. And I trust Jack and Misty to always give us their best, no matter what the product.
