| From
the first strum of the guitar, you hear it coming
the sounds of patriotism
loud
and clear. And when Joe Tinoco begins to
sing the words, you hear that patriotism echoing in his bold, rich voice. I
was very lucky to receive this great single in the mail today, and the timing
couldn't have been better!
Ya know, I've heard a lot of patriotic songs in this time of one of our country's worst tragedies, music both old and new. There ARE those who criticize artists and writers, record labels and radio, for "making money off our tragedy". I can understand and respect their opinion. But I come from a little different angle about it all. See, for me, what's really important about this music, is not WHY it's out there, it's simply that it IS out there! At a time when all we see on television and all we carry around in our hearts are sadness, fear, and bewilderment, I find a certain comfort in this music. It makes me feel better. It makes me proud. It makes me, at least for a little while, STRONG. And I know I'm not alone in my need for music now, especially music that sings out loud that Americans stand together and unbending in our will to go on. So I, personally, would like to say THANKS to Joe! The song is GREAT! "Lady Liberty" (Joe Tinoco/Nadiene Collins) will be blaring from my speakers, daily! Run on over to his website to hear it for yourself. I know you'll feel just a little better than you did before you heard it, and I HIGHLY recommend anything that will make you feel better, these days. Please allow me just one more
personal moment here, folks, to say thanks again, not ONLY to Joe
for his wonderful song, but to all the artists out there who continue to entertain
and comfort us with songs that are painted in the colors we have grown to
appreciate, ever more than before
RED
WHITE and BLUE!
God bless you, and God bless America. And as always, this has been
