Awhile back, a friend of mine sent me a new CD, knowing I would be happy to take a listen…but more than likely, unable to get a review written for at LEAST a few weeks. Gosh, this guy is patient with me!

Well, today I listened, and guess what! I’m still listening! What a truly wonderful COUNTRY album! The name’s Derrick McHaffey and the album is "All Over Again". Now folks, even if there weren’t a song on the album with that name, this could and SHOULD still keep this title. Why? Because I’m hearing songs I’ve heard before…real LEGENDARY songs, all OVER again! And Derrick delivers them the way, I’m sure, the writers intended them to be sung, and heard. Beautiful songs…like "South of the Border", "Sugar Moon", and "Red Sails in the Sunset". And do you remember those "Harbor Lights"? I do! My grandparents used to play that one for me! I loved it then, and I love it now!

Derrick has quite a way with a song. He has gathered the best musicians and back up vocalists around him, to take us all back to a simpler time—when music was meant to help us Unwind! And the production of each and every cut on this CD is PURE professional country-fied! (smile) He’s included some great gospel tunes too, to help us remember where
we came from, and to remind us where we COULD be going, if we’re not careful! And I defy you to find anyone who can sing a more beautiful gospel song.

Now, you may not recognize his name yet, but stick around, and look around. ‘Cause if you have access to GOOD radio, where they play REAL country music, I doubt you’ll be waiting long to hear his name, OR his music.

Take a minute now, to look up this CD at www.countrydiscovery.com or drop an email to codiscl@aol.com . You’ve all heard the newest phrase goin’ around— "eye-candy"— well, Derrick McHaffey IS that, but he’s a lot more. Hmmm—what do you call music that’s so easy on the ears? "Ear-Candy"? Naaaa, that sounds all wrong. But the music you’ll hear on
"All Over Again" is ANYTHING but wrong! And, as usual, boys and girls, this is only ...
