Well, what can I say? Their name fits 'em! And the way they describe themselves-"hip hop country" (which is also the title of the first cut on this album) fits 'em.But they're OH so much more! This band got my attention from the first note of the first song on their CD. And it hasn't let me go, since!

Really! I listen to them every day! And believe me, I have a LOT of music to listen to! But these guys get me dancin'.even before my heart starts beating in the mornings! I very strongly recommend this group - even to (like myself), folks who hunger for more traditional country music.Why, you ask? Well, I'm gonna tell you why.Its 'cause the Crazed Cowboys are just plain FUN! (not to mention TALENTED) .I think I can safely, and without hesitation, say you'll love their music. Now, at first, when you start the CD, the first cut "Hip Hop Country", you might step back a bit.. and find yourself asking - "What the heck IS this?" .But wait!!! AND listen!!! You'll LOVE it!! You won't be able to help yourself! (that is, if you like music, and you're alive and breathing) ...And I assume, since you're reading this, that you ARE.

I think one of my favorites on this CD, has got to be "Say Yes To A Dance". Nice ballad.but done with a very different style.GREAT lyrics, too.sincere, REAL, and comfortable.But hey, who wants to STAY comfortable? .So its on to the old Bayou.as in "Deep In The Old Bayou" .what a song!! Took me awhile to think who the lead singer reminded me of and drove me nuts till I did. Why, its none other than, Chris LeDoux. Yep..BUT, not a copy! No, just a hint of his voice, style.

The Crazed Cowboys hail from the St. Louis area, and you can get a list of their gigs, as well as listen to and order, their CD, at their website (also written with great humor, I might add) ... www.crazedcowboys.com ..what an album this is, and I reeeeally hope you'll take a few minutes to listen to these guys. I don't think you'll be sorry.in fact, if you ARE, you can let me know. But don't send ONLY bad news..
